I’ve been using a few products from Cold Composites—the rod holder and the Mag Lug working station—and I’ve been seriously impressed with the quality.
The composite material feels comparable to Milwaukee Packout products. It’s solid, durable, and doesn’t feel cheap at all. The magnets are exceptionally strong and hold exactly like you’d want them to.
Whether I’m working in the shop or out in the field doing equipment repairs and fabrication, these tools have been extremely useful. They keep everything organized, save time, and hold up to real-world use.
One thing I really appreciate is that these products were designed and built by a fellow welder. You can tell they were made by someone who understands the trade because the design is practical and everything just works.

Game Changer for welding. This is something that has been missing from my every day welding arsenal for a long time. The only thing I wish is to have a contoured version to stick to pipe slightly better. This still works great but can sometimes turn on round objects. One of my favorite tools Ive bought.
